Sharon’s World Daycare
and Respite home

Sharon’s World Day Care and Respite home is a contemporary child care facility located at Chevy View Estate, Chevron, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.

It was born out of a love for children and everything that involves them, as well as a need to reduce the stress faced by parents on a daily basis, combining work and family.

We believe that childcare doesn’t have to be hard, we also know that well rested parents make happy families, this is why we put together “Sharon’s World” so you can take a well needed break or meet your work goals knowing that all your child needs are met.

Sharon’s World consists of two main parts: Our Child Care Center and the Respite Home.

THE CHILD CARE CENTER

This is for children from ages 0 – 5 yrs. Here we don’t just take care of your child or provide creche services, we exercise their mind as well as their body.

Our educational approach is centered mainly on the British Childcare system (Early Years Foundation Stage-EYFS) which focuses on the child’s SPICE development (Social, Physical, Intellectual, Communication and Emotional) intermixed with the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Frobel and Steiner approaches amongst a few others.

THE RESPITE HOME

Our Respite Home is for children from ages 2 – 16, We like to call it a hotel for your kids and those are the standards we hold ourselves by. The Respite Home is a temporary home designed to support parents, who have busy schedules or are generally overworked, allowing them to take a break from their parenting responsibilities for a short-term. Meaning that you can leave your kids with us, whilst you attend that important ceremony, meeting, go shopping, travel or just take a break (you know, you need it).

The respite home is run 24/7, so you can bring and pick up your child at any time, we even have a pick ‘n’ drop service for those of you, who are too busy and can’t make it.

Whilst your child is with us, they will be looked after by professionals in a comfortable and secure home, provided with good food by our on call Chef, whose duty is to provide healthy and interesting meals that your children will love.

Health wise they are covered fully as we have an experienced matron on ground, in case of those emergencies which we never pray for.

We also have a lot of educational resources which we put to use teaching your kids through fun activities. We also assist them with their homework.

We generally ensure they build positive relationships with other kids while learning and developing new skills.

During your child’s short stay here, our aim is to provide a fun place for your kids, at the same time make sure they leave learning something new.
